Number of retailers participating has tripled since launch three years ago; 40 signed up so far.
Some 40 retail buyers from firms including Avon, Boots, John Lewis, Mothercare, Sainsbury's and Tesco have all confirmed their participation in this year's Brand Licensing Europe Retail Mentoring Programme.
Organiser Advanstar has also revealed that the number of retailers taking part in the programme has tripled since its launch three years ago.
The programme is designed to nurture retail talent in the licensing industry, helping retail professionals to understand its complexities. Starting in April and spanning six months, the buyers take part in workshops and seminars, including attending the LIMA Spring Fling on May 17th.
They also have the chance to shadow licensors in their offices, with the programme culminating at BLE in October.
"The Retail Mentoring Programme has been well received since its inception in 2010, and we are thrilled to see it grow so quickly over such a short time," said Jessica Blue, BLE show director. "Last year we saw an impressive 22 per cent increase in retail attendance to the show, and it's great to see retailers sending more of their buyers to take part in the programme.
"Not only does the programme benefit retailers, but is also very positive for our exhibitors and for the industry as a whole."

Brand Licensing Europe 2012 will take place from October 16th to 18th at London's Olympia.
