The most awarded TV show in history will see a raft of licensed goods and experiences ahead of the launch of the show's eighth season in 2019.
Bradford License Europe in partnership with HBO Licensing continues to expand the Game of Thrones European licensing program with a range of new product releases landing in 2018.
New Licensees include Bacci Sourcing and Consulting (apparel), Jasmine (metal wall art), Nemesis Now (resin goblets/tankards), Half Moon Bay (giftware), and Drop Dead Clothing (DTR apparel).
Nemesis Now will create a licensed a drinkware range to include tankards, goblets and shot glasses.While, Half Moon Bay have launched their licensed giftware range to include glassware, bowls and plates.
Alternative designer brand Drop Dead launched their licensed Game of Thrones capsule collection last November.
These new product lines join the Game of Thrones live concert experience and the Game of Thrones touring exhibition. The European concert tour starts in Madrid May 2018, and the North American tour begins in September 2018 in Vancouver, BC.
Game of Thrones, the touring exhibition featuring props and costumes, made its debut in Barcelona in October 2017.
The Royal Mail has also recently teamed up with HBO for an exclusive collection of Game of Thrones stamps.
All of this licensing activity should go at least some way to tiding fans over before the eighth and final season airs on HBO and Sky Atlantic in April 2019.
