BWI will grow the brand following the successful film release in November
The Street Cat Bob brand has appointed Brands with Influence Worldwide to manage its commercial exploitation rights.
The London-based merchandising specialists will help grow the brand across the world following the successful release of the film adaptation, A Street Cat Named Bob in UK cinemas in November 2016. BWI aims to develop a "digital platform and a merchandise programme" based on the loveable cat.
“Like millions of other fans, we were deeply moved and motivated by this incredible and true, modern day fairytale. Street Cat Bob is a fantastic character, who has been personally attending our meetings" said Martin Lowde of BWI.
"With a global fan base across the world we are going to be building ongoing customer interaction through new editorial content, while meeting a latent demand for Streetcat Bob merchandise through a new licensing programme.”
