Busy Gemma planning new ranges

Greetings cards and gift wrap firm adding new licences to boost portfolio.

A collection of new licences have joined Gemma International's stable, covering both children's and adult properties.

First up, the firm has added The Muppets to its adult collection. Featuring characters including Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, Statler and Waldorf, higher age cards are available in 5x9 size: 30, 40 and 50, which are die-cut and foiled. There are also four open birthday captions in 5x7 size.

"The Muppets is a great licence to work with," said Kerena Bishop, creative director. "They have a strong appeal to adults and its characters are iconic. The retro feel of the range really fits in with current trends."

Moving on, and Gemma will be launching its new Camp Rock and High School Musical 3 ranges in September.

The HSM3 line will include age cards, a moving picture card, a poster card, relation cards, plus gift wrap and tag.

Meanwhile for Camp Rock, there will be five age cards (eight to 12 years), as well as three no-age designs, wrap and tag.

Finally, Gemma is expanding its current cute ranges to include higher ages. Winnie the Pooh Delights now features 5x9 designs for girls aged eight to 16, while 9x6 designs are also available for ages 18, 21, 30 and 40. On top of this, 11 new cards have also been created for The Softest Spot across three formats. 18, 21, 30, 40 and 50 are available in 9x6, while 18, 21, 30 and 40 can also be purchased in a large 9x12 and ages 60 and 70 are 5x9.
