Agency to roll out consumer products programme for icon across the territory.
Studio Licensing has signed a number of deals which will see a range of Elvis Presley consumer products launch across Canada.
Multiple deals have been inked to introduce a broad range of categories to the mass market starting in the spring with major Canadian retailers.
Licensed partners include X‐Treme Worldwide, Calego International, and Primemotion, with more to be announced shortly.
X‐Treme Worldwide is producing a diverse range of products including infant/toddler sleepwear, ladies and men’s apparel, glassware, bar accessories and Christmas items. Calego International is creating a variety of luggage pieces, bags and accessories. Primemotion is developing a range of adult targeted collectible puzzles, including 3D lenticulars.
The programme is designed to appeal to a wide demographic of original loyalists, as well as new and younger fans. The launch comes during a significant milestone, which jointly celebrates the 35th anniversary of the ‘life and legacy’ of Elvis.
Canada is home to a devoted Elvis fan base with over ten fan clubs and numerous cross‐country events including the Collingwood Elvis Festival (which is the world’s largest Elvis festival).
