CBS expanding presence across Europe

Deals secured with 12 companies to create products for iconic TV portfolio.

CBS Consumer Products has signed up 12 new international licensees to further build its merchandise programmes throughout Europe.

The new partners will be working across a variety of brands including CSI, NCIS and Star Trek, plus TV series such as Mighty Mouse, Happy Days and Beverly Hills 90210. Product will cover the apparel, gift and toy categories among others.

"We are excited to team with these top manufacturers to introduce products to fans across Europe," said Liz Kalodner, EVP and general manager of CBS Consumer Products. "Each of our licensees has a proven track record dealing with global media properties and specialises in combining iconic entertainment portfolios with retail and market expertise."

New licensees joining the line-up are: Abysse (France); Centre Textile Moliere (France); Contrast (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden); Cool Think Licensing (Spain); Groovy UK; Iron Gut Publishing (UK); M6 Interactions (France); Manifutture Zotti (Italy); Moulded Acrylics (UK); Sabrina (Italy); and Stradivarius (Spain).
