Children's bedroom accessories licensee, Character World is supporting an appeal this Christmas to help disadvantaged children across the North West.

Manchester radio station Key 103 has launched the Mission Christmas drive in a bid to give presents to children living in extreme povety in Greater Manchester.

The campaign has called upon local organisations to act as drop off points for gifts from members of the public.

Character World has agreed to be a collection point and is donating a range of duvet sets, fleece blankets and cushions featuring licensed characters.

"The campaign aims to ensure children living in poverty get to open a Christmas present this year," said Sarah Harding, senior licensing executive at Character World. "It's a cause very close to our hearts and everyone at Character World wanted to be involved."
