Chorion moves into India with Dream Theatre

Noddy and Mr Men and Little Miss to be introduced into territory following deal.

Chorion is expanding in the Indian subcontinent, appointing Dream Theatre to handle its Noddy and Mr Men and Little Miss brands.

The Mumbai-based company will be looking after the properties across India, Pakistan, Bangladeshg and Sri Lanka.

For the first time in India, Dream Theatre is planning to introduce Noddy apparel, home furnishings, personal care, school bags, home video and other categories. It will also concentrate on licensing deals and merchandising promos for the Mr Men and Little Miss classic characters.

"Chorion is excited that Dream Theatre is representing our Noddy and Mr Men and Little Miss properties in India," commented Melissa Tinker, SVP licensing Asia Pacific at Chorion.
