Commonwealth picks up So So Happy

Art Impressions signs firm to produce a full toy line based on the brand.

Lifestyle brand So So Happy is being turned into a toy line, after Art Impressions sealed a deal with Commonwealth Toys.

Initial items in the collection - which will include plush toys, beanies and plush backpacks - will launch in May in the US in specialty chains, boutiques, department stores and a major nationwide toy retailer.

Plans are also in place for multiple additional series, delving deeper into the brand's 200+ characters.

"We are incredibly excited about the opportunity to work with Commonwealth Toys," commented Art Impressions' Cindy Bailey. "With their roster of respected brands and their team's extraordinary capabilities across the board, we are sure to bring the So So Happy toy programme to a new level in 2012, while delivering the quality and uniqueness people have come to expect from both of our companies."
