Deep Silver welcomes licensees in apparel, collectables and publishing

Agent Game of 2 Halves signs Bioworld, Insert Coin, Wing Co and Joe Books.

Licensing agent Game of 2 Halves has signed a raft of new licensees for video game publisher Deep Silver.

Bioworld has signed to create a range of adult apparel and accessories based on the Saints Row, Dead Island and Metro video game properties.

The range will include t-shirts, tops, smartphone and tablet covers, bags, belts, belt buckles, headwear, wallets, purses, nightwear, loungewear, underwear, socks, jewellery, key-chains and headphones.

Insert Coin will create apparel available online based on Saints Row, including t-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, jackets and leggings.

A collectable figure of the President character in Saints Row IV will come from Wing Co, while Joe Books will bring novels based on Saints Row and Dead Island to retail.

Discussions are also underway with potential partners in collectables, wall art, figurines and graphic novels.

“Deep Silver has a portfolio of iconic games that are popular throughout the world so from a licensing point of view we have a very strong platform to build on,” says Paul Comben, Game of 2 Halves managing director.

Patrick Lorkin, international sales and new business development manager at Koch Media, added: "Deep Silver are pleased to be working with the licensees and Game of 2 Halves on licensing our brands.

"Video games properties are known as an important category to the licensing business and it gives us the opportunity to bring engaging products to the loyal fans of our key franchises."
