4Kids Entertainment has completed licensing agreements for Dinosaur King with GMTV in the UK and Jetix Netherlands.

In addition, the second season of the show has been signed up by Jetix UK and is due for launch in late February. 4Kids has also sealed a deal for home video distribution with KSM Gmbh for German-speaking Europe.

"These latest deals in several key territories confirm the increasing popularity of the Dinosaur King franchise," said Brian Lacey, executive vice president international at 4Kids Entertainment.

In the US, Dinosaur King airs on TheCW4Kids, while other broadcasters on board include RTE (Ireland(, Animax (Central and Eastern Europe) and Mnet (South Africa) among others.

Upper Deck launched the Dinosaur King Trading Card Game (TCG) in Toys R Us and independent toy and hobby stores in October 2008. A full retail launch is planned for March. The range includes boosters and starter decks with 159 cards to collect in set one. Cards feature dinosaurs and characters from the TV show, including rare cards with patterned foil technology and dinosaur facts on every card.

The TCG is listed at Toys R Us, Smyths Toys, Toymasters and McColls and around 200 independents and will launch at Game, WHSmith, Argos and Asda in February.
