Domo bags first UK agent with Coolabi deal

Big Tent Entertainment also extends merchandising with Matrak and Bensons Trading Company.

Coolabi has signed up as the UK agent for hit internet brand Domo.

Big Tent Entertainment struck the deal, while also reaching new agreements with Matrak and Bensons Trading Company to further establish Domo internationally with lines of apparel, accessories, plush, novelty items and more.

Domo now joins properties including Poppy Cat, Purple Ronnie, Beast Quest and Clangers in Coolabi's portfolio. The firm will look to expand the brand's presence in the UK with new deals for apparel, plush, accessories, household items and games among other categories.

"Domo has fans in every corner of the world," said Rich Collins, CEO at Big Tent Entertainment. "Working with respected agents like Coolabi is very important in helping us satisfy the international demand of Domo-nation with new and cool products that are the highest quality."

Val Fry, director of sales at Coolabi, added: "Coolabi is delighted to be working on this exciting brand in the UK. We have high hopes for what Domo can achieve in this market, following on from its continuing success in other territories."

Meanwhile, Turkish firm Matrak will launch a line of Domo t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and mugs in the territory. Bensons Trading Company is extending its existing contract with Big Tent to include a wide range of new products including plush, show bags, inflatables, balls, key chains, stationery sets, badges, stickers and tumblers. The products will be available in Australia and New Zealand.
