‘Chan’s vision and leadership will be a key asset to achieving deeper penetration of our properties across Asia,’ says eOne’s Olivier Dumont.
Entertainment One (eOne) has appointed its new head of Asia for eOne Family and eOne Licensing, in the form of Dorothy Chan.
In her new position, Chan will help to drive new and existing business for eOne’s portfolio of brands, including the likes of Peppa Pig, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom and PJ Masks.
She will also be responsible for overseeing TV and digital sales, licensing and co-ordination of marketing programs in the region.
“We are delighted to welcome Dorothy to the team. She has over 20 years experience working with some of the industry’s biggest global brands and brings with her an extensive knowledge of the local market that will strengthen our presence on the ground in Asia,” said Olivier Dumont, MD at eOne Family.
“As Peppa Pig continues to grow in popularity and we look to launch our new pre-school property PJ Masks, Chan’s vision and leadership will be a key asset to achieving deeper penetration of our properties across Asia.”
Previously, Chan worked as general manager at Alpha Animation Brand Management Co, and also held the position of head of licensing at Hasbro and commercial manager at WHSmith.
