Dot Dash Design rolls out Guinness plans

Boutique consultancy shows off product designs in toys, games and stationery.

Dot Dash Design has been working on a number of product designs for Guinness World Records, including a variety of creative toys, games, stationery and style guide concepts for licensed products.

GWR commissioned the firm at the beginning of the summer, with the agency last week rolling out a wide range of product ideas, with the focus on dual appeal for adults and children.

Best known for its work in the textile and apparel business, Dot Dash Design extended its skills base into the toys, games and stationery sectors for GWR.

"It's invaluable for us to name Guinness World Records as a top client, with its unique combination of entertainment, record breaking authority and globally recognised brand," said Paula Taylor, commercial director of Dot Dash Design. "This project diversified our design credentials and, in turn, added a new degree of credibility to our business."

Beatriz Fernandez, UK licensing manager at GWR, added: "Dot Dash Design showed through the execution of the designs a very good understanding of our brand values, as well as of our current and potential target audiences."

Other clients in Dot Dash Design's portfolio include BBC Worldwide, Atari, Nickelodeon, V&A and the Natural History Museum.
