DreamWorks Animations' co-president Mireille Soria steps down

The departure will leave Bonnie Arnold, who shared the co-president title with her, to serve as president.

DreamWorks Animation’s Mireille Soria is stepping down from her post as co-president of the animation studio.

The pair were named co-presidents of feature animation at DreamWorks Animation in January last year, following the departure of Bill Damaschke as chief creative officer.

Soria (pictured above left) and Arnold (above right) were both named co-presidents of the studio as part of a restructuring in the wake of Comcast’s $3.8bn acquisition of DWA.

Soria has been responsible for the success of many of DreamWorks’ feautures, in particular the Madagascar series, which she will continue to be involved with as a producer.
