Stand-up comedian and panel show regular to preside over this September's event.
Stand-up comedian, actor and presenter Ed Byrne has been confirmed as the host of The Licensing Awards.
Byrne (pictured) will preside over events on September 10th in The Great Room of London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
Among his credits are three hit UK tours, plus international performances in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He is also the voice of The Carphone Warehouse ads, and has made numerous appearances on shows including Live At The Apollo, Mock the Week, Father Ted and Children in Need.
"Ed Byrne is the perfect host for The Awards, a charming comedian at the top of his game who will be sure to make it a night to remember," said Ian Hyder, director of The Licensing Awards and The Licensing Source Book (which owns and organises the event).
