Egmont’s first three LEGO DC books will launch this October, followed by The LEGO Batman Movie in 2017.
Egmont Publishing has acquired publishing rights for LEGO DC Super Heroes and The LEGO Batman Movie, in partnership with Warner Bros Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment.
Egmont’s LEGO DC publishing programme will sit alongside its other LEGO titles including LEGO Ninjago.
“We are really excited to be publishing LEGO DC titles in the UK," said John Packard, publisher, Egmont Publishing.
"The LEGO Movie was a huge hit, and I’m sure The LEGO Batman Movie will be too. This movie range is the perfect way to launch our LEGO DC programme."
Egmont’s first three LEGO DC books will launch this October with two activity titles coming with LEGO minifigures, each priced at £6.99, and a sticker book with activities with an RRP of £5.99.
Four movie tie-ins will follow in spring 2017 including a The LEGO Batman Movie activity book featuring an exclusive minifigure, a The LEGO Batman Movie Choose-Your-Hero activity book, a The LEGO Batman Movie activity diary a The LEGO Batman Movie sticker book with activities and The LEGO Batman Movie annual in autumn, which will also come with a LEGO minifigure.
