The hit pre-school series Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom is preparing to make its Mexican debut on Televisa this month.

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom is taking flight in Mexico where the hit pre-school series has been signed to the country’s leading free to air broadcaster, Televisa.

The first series of the Emmy and BAFTA award-winning 2D animated show will commence airing on the channel from this October in a deal that expands on eOne’s already strong relationship with Televisa.

The channel has been the home to Peppa Pig since 2013, in addition to representing licensing rights for the brand across the country, where it has secured over 50 partner to date.

To support the launch of the series on Televisa this month eOne is gearing up to launch a marketing campaign with tailored content targeting the local market, such as character costumes and a localized free app.

Monica Candiani, head of international sales at eOne Family, said: “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Televisa on Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom.

“It’s support and local market knowledge has been absolutely instrumental to the success of Peppa Pig in Mexico. We look forward to working more closely with them to bring Ben and Holly’s magical adventures into the house of families throughout the region.”
