V&S Entertainment partners with the costumes and accessories company.
The first lines of Everything’s Rosie dress-up costumes from VMC accessories are set to hit the shelves in spring/summer 2012.
The constume range will be complemented with accessories including headwear, scarves, mittens, gloves and sunglasses. The new partners have revealed there is 'already a strong interest from retail.'
Julie Quirke, director of licensing at V&S Entertainment, said: “We are delighted that VMC Accessories has joined the Everything’s Rosie licensing programme.
“This adds to a rapidly increasing list of top quality licensees, underlining the wide ranging appeal and strong support for the brand across multiple categories.”
Those categories include toys, DVDs, board games and puzzles, apparel, bedding, lunchware, bags and publishing with licensees like Vivid, Egmont, NBC Universal, Blues Clothing, Roy Lowe & Sons, TDP Aykroyds, Vogue International, Worlds Apart, Zap and Zeon.
Since Everything’s Rosie debuted on CBeebies in May 2010, the show has secured broadcast deals across Europe with RTVE in Spain, Canal Panda in Portugal and RAI YOYO in Italy and France Television.
The show has been particularly popular in Spain with V&S picking up licensing partners like IMC, Safta, Stor, Astro and CYP Imports, while Giochi Preziosi Spain will be distributing Vivid’s toy line.
A third series of Everything’s Rosie is currently in production and is set to air in 2012.
