Fluffy Gardens making roads into Latin America

Sticker albums, activity magazines and mobile content deal boost brand in Argentina and Brazil.

Target Entertainment Group has signed a swathe of new deals in Latin America for pre-school animation Fluffy Gardens.

Deomar Editora has signed up to produce sticker albums and activity magazines for the Brazilian market. Also in Brazil, MoviClips Mobile Marketing will provide downloadable wallpapers of the Fluffy Gardens characters to mobile phone providers.

Meanwhile, in Argentina, Editorial Vertice is on board to produce a range of colouring and activity books.

Discovery Kids is the broadcast partner for Fluffy Gardens in Latin America. Other broadcast partners include: Cartoonito in the UK, France 5, ABC Australia, Norway's NRK, SVT in Sweden, M-Net's kids channel KTV, Cineplex in Thailand, RTV Slovenia and EBS in Korea.

Fluffy Gardens is a 40x7-minute 2D cell animation series aimed at pre-schoolers and specifically children old enough for their first bedtime story.

Richard Oren, VP of president of licensing, USA, Canada and Latin America at TEG, said: "We are looking forward to working with these companies to produce the first Fluffy Gardens products in Latin America. This is just the beginning of what of what we know will be a very successful licensing programme in the territory."
