FremantleMedia has made a host of new licence signings, included several hit TV shows.
FME has secured the licensing rights for three of the Discovery Communications-owned TLC network’s hit television shows - American Chopper, Miami Ink and LA Ink.
It has also signed a deal with Original Productions, producers of the Emmy Award winning Deadliest Catch, to represent their newest show Motor City Motors and, lastly, it is now the exclusive licensor of the prestigious Golden Boy brand of boxer Oscar De La Hoya for consumer products, interactive and mobile licensing.
“These newest additions to our brand portfolio represent a unique snapshot of various lifestyles and cultures that cultivate true brand loyalty, making them ideal for reaching audiences through new product extensions,” explained David Luner, SVP Interactive & Consumer Products, FME.
“By translating their success into new product spaces, we hope to forge even deeper, longer-term connections between the brands and consumers.”
The announcements come hot on the heels of FME’s representation deal with The Lingerie Football League (LFL) which sees the company handling global rights across television distribution, home entertainment, sponsor integration, digital extensions and consumer products.
