GameCo partners with Steve Aoki for latest video game gambling machine

Under the new partnership, GameCo will develop an original skill-based video game gambling machine featuring the popular figure titled Steve Aoki’s Neon Dream.

GameCo Inc has secured a new licensing agreement with the Grammy-nominated DJ and eSports organisation owner, Steve Aoki.

Under the new partnership, GameCo will develop an original skill-based video game gambling machine featuring the popular figure titled Steve Aoki’s Neon Dream.

Scheduled to debut in casinos later summer 2017, the game is inspired by Aoki’s 2014 Neon Future album and its soundscapes. The first-person game will see players fly over an endless track through a world of colour, collecting coins while listening to various house and electronic dance tracks from Aoki’s Dim Mak label.

“I can’t wait for my fans to see what GameCo has done with Neon Dreams,” said Aoki. “Using Dim Mak’s music, and a host of images from our collection, the video game really is a neon dream and I am proud to be working with GameCo as we revolutionise the gaming floor.”

Rich Maryyanek, global business development, GameCo, added: “We are thrilled to be working with a Superstar like Steve Aoki to bring a next generation gaming experience to casinos.

“This game blends Steve’s aural imagery with the music from Dim Mak to create an entirely new experience unlike any other game on the casino floor.”

Throughout 2017, GameCo expects to continue its position as a market leader in skill-based gaming with the release of ten or more new VGM titles.
