Gameloft is the developer behind a number of hit mobile game titles, including Marvel’s Spider-Man Unlimited, Ice Age Adventures and Disney’s Magic Kingdoms.

The mobile gaming company Gameloft has appointed a new country manager for the UK and Ireland.

John-Paul Burke has joined the team as Gameloft continues its plans for growth both in the UK and Ireland.

In his new role, Burke will oversee the sales and marketing teams as well as lead Gameloft Advertising Solutions, the advertising arm that aims to help brands and agencies engage with more than three million UK players.

The new country manager has previously enjoyed stints as head of AV at Arena Azure, Dennis Publishing and spent five years at Bin Weevils as head of sales.

Antonin Lhuillier, managing director, North Europe, Gameloft, said: “We are entering a hugely exciting period of growth across the global business and John-Paul will play a key role. His combination of expertise and passion for the gaming and entertainment industries made the decision an easy one.

“John-Paul has a firm understanding of the advertising business, the great work we do with our clients and our commitment to being the number one mobile games publisher in the world.”
