The company has teamed up with Halloween retailer Spirit Halloween, who will develop a line of costumes and accessories.
Genius Brands has joined forces with Halloween retailer Spirit Halloween for a direct-to-retail costume and accessories programme based on its SpacePOP brand.
As part of the deal, Spirit Halloween will design and manufacture the first line of SpacePOP character costumes and accessories, which will debut at retail locations in the US and Canada from August 2017.
“SpacePOP is an ideal fit for character costumes and accessories, and Spirit Halloween will give the brand a tremendous boost of exposure at the retail level,” said Stone Newman, president of worldwide content sales, global consumer products and marketing at Genius Brands International.
“We’re very much looking forward to working with Spirit Halloween on creating a variety of accessories and costumes for SpacePOP fans in 2017 and beyond.”
Spirit Halloween joins an expanding line-up of retail partners from apparel, accessories, beauty products and electronics to room décor, books, music and home entertainment.
