Kids property wins collectable toy of the year at last week's award ceremony.Gogo's Crazy Bones walked away from last week's Toy of the Year awards with Collectable Toy of the Year.
The award recognises the phenomenal impact made by Gogo's in the UK market in such a short time. Produced by Magic Box International and Promociones Premier International, there are 160 to collect in five different colours, plus five rare figures. A further big release is planned shortly.
Magic Box is throwing significant weight behind the brand to help fuel further growth - major promotions are planned, including retail tours, promotionals with a national newspaper and a TV ad drive.
Head of UK for Magic Box, Ben Harper, said: "We're thrilled to win this award as it is the industry's official stamp that Gogo's is the hottest thing in the country's playgrounds. We've got incredible plans in place right through to the end of 2010 and the international roll out is proving just as strong."
In licensing terms, Bulldog has secured deals with Penguin and Random House, Portico, Pyramid, Roy Lowe & Sons, Infocado, Zap, Halsall, Poetic Gem, MV Sports and Hy-Pro among others.
MD Rob Corney added: "As far as Gogo's is concerned, this is just the start."
