Hasbro Studios picks up big win at 43rd Daytime Emmy Awards

Transformers and My Little Pony sweep the nominations boards as Jeff Bennet picks up an award for best performer in an animated programme.

Hasbro Studios is celebrating a big weekend having taken home the accolade for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Programme at the Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

The award was handed to Jeff Bennet for his role as Mayor Luskey in Transformers Rescue Bots, currently broadcast on Discovery Family.

Now in its 43rd year, the ceremony paid tribute to some of the biggest properties and programmes in the entertainment sector.

Hasbro Studios was nominated across four categories including Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program. Outstanding Special Class Animated Program for its Transformers Robots in Disguise on Cartoon Network, Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program for Transformers Rescue Bots on Discovery Family and Outstanding Original Song for The Magic Inside in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic on Discovery Family.
