Hasbro has kicked off its partnership with Sesame Street, revealing a line of toys and games under its Playskool brand featuring characters such as Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Ernie and Abby Cadabby.

Headlining the pre-school collection is interactive plush Let's Rock Elmo (pictured). Six songs are featured, including two new releases, and three instruments. In addition, a guitar, keyboard and microphone can be purchased separately.

Products featuring the other characters will range from cuddly plush pals and learning companions to mini figures and infant and toddler-themed toys.

Highlights include Let's Rock Cookie Monster Keyboard, Count n Crunch Cookie Monster, Sesame Street Play-set, Oscar the Grouch Shape Sorter and Abby Cadabby's Colour Wand.

"We are really excited to be able to bring Sesame Street's great cast of characters to life for a whole new generation of kids to enjoy," said Jerry Perez, general manager of Playskool. "Our goal with Let's Rock Elmo was to create the most interactive Elmo ever and take his special bond with kids to the next level of engagement."

Sherrie Westin, EVP and chief marketing officer at Sesame Workshop, added: "Playskool has done a wonderful job bringing our characters to life in toys which both educate and entertain young children. The new Sesame Street collection from Playskool is a great expression of all that parents and young children love about Sesame Street."
