TV and licensing deals already signed for new show Sandra the Fairytale Detective.
Spanish production and distribution company Imira Entertainment is heading to London and Cannes next week with a raft of TV, publishing and home entertainment deals already signed for its new show, Sandra the Fairytale Detective.
The show has recently launched on TF1, achieving a 50 per cent share of the four to ten year-old demographic.
The new deals include TV sales to Nickelodeon Asia for pay-TV rights for South East Asia, Noga Communications for cable and satellite and VOD rights for Israel.
Home entertainment rights have been snapped up by Tribanda in Spain and TF1 Video in France, with DVDs due to launch in spring 2010 in conjunction with a set of four storybooks from Roca Editorial.
Imira will be at Brand Licensing Europe seeking out further licensing and merchandising partners. The emphasis will be on back to school products and stationery, board games and giftware.
A dedicated website will also launch in the autumn.
As well as TF1, Sandra the Fairytale Detective airs on Disney Channels in France, Italy, Germany, Spain and India.
"We've had a fantastic response to the show from buyers and licensees alike," said Christophe Goldberger, head of distribution and marketing at Imira.
