Iron Gut signs Star Trek

Three-year deal will see firm create and distribute new fine art programme.

Iron Gut Publishing has further extended its reach into the licensing marketplace, securing a three-year deal for Star Trek which will see it create a fine art programme for the franchise.

Iron Gut already produces fine art ranges for Betty Boop, Coronation Street and Edward Monkton.

"It is the 45th anniversary of Star Trek in 2011 and what better way to celebrate then to launch a fine art range for the fans," said Anthony Marks, MD of Iron Gut. "Our licence gives us access to the imagery from all the films, movie posters and each of the series."

Helen Fielding, category manager at CPLG - which represents Star Trek in the UK - added: "The team have created and promoted some of the finest art collections and have many years experience. This collaboration will see some phenomenal artists create their interpretation of this amazing brand, which will be adored by fans and collectors on both sides of the Atlantic."
