Licence signed for collectables and plush based on Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, The Jetsons and more.

Jazwares has signed a licence to make toys based on eight classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons, including The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, Yogi Bear, Secret Squirrel and Hong Kong Phooey.

The plush lines are comprised of 12-inch pull string plush with sound and plush deluxe sets. The collectable figures include a three-inch assortment, two-inch collectors sets and six-inch figures.

Products are in US toy aisles now.

"We are delighted to add Hanna-Barbera to our portfolio of licenses, and to create figures and plush based on some of the most well-known cartoon characters of all time,” said Laura Zebersky, executive vice president global sales, Jazwares.

“Hanna-Barbera shows are iconic, and resonate with consumers of all ages. We’re sure that fans and collectors alike will be excited to see their favorite retro series, like The Flintstones and The Jetsons, brought back to life in the toy aisle.”

Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, said: “Hanna-Barbera’s dozens of familiar series and characters have entertained both parents and children for decades.

“Jazwares has a remarkable ability to bring popular television characters to life as toys without compromising their nostalgic appeal, which is why we are excited to be working with them to introduce eight of Hanna-Barbera’s classic series to an entirely new generation.”
