Jazwares revs up licensing division with key new appointments

Jazwares retains leading industry veterans to manage its growing presence across the global consumer products industry.

Jazwares is revving up the talent across its licensing, sales and marketing division with a swathe of new appointments.

Former Hasbro exec, Chris Parrish has joined the company, taking up the mantle of senior director of licensing as Jazwares continues to expand the unit. This will include new outbound licensing programmes from its Jazwings incubation team.

Parrish will also corroborate with major entertainment studios and principal creators to secure bold, neoteric brands.

Meanwhile, Audrey Knott joins the team as senior director of business with a focus on girls’ pre-school brands. An experienced toy and hard goods global category manager, Knott has held tenure at Hasbro and Aqua-Leisure Industries.

Monika Salazar is the newly appointed senior director, trade and retail marketing, a role in which she will help publicise Jazwares as an authority on creativity and innovation in the industry. Salazar joins from the likes of Disney, MTV Networks, Hasbro and The Pokémon Company.

Finally, Chris Cofoni has been named the vice president of specialty and mid-tier sales. This newly minted division offers customised and exclusive product via Jazwares Boutique.
