Company appoints Alicom, Alphanim, Ignition and Rocket Licensing.
The Jim Henson Company has signed up four new licensing agents across Europe to further drive its global business.
Alphanim will represent the firm's pre-school brands Sid the Science Kid and Dinosaur Train in France, while Alicom has signed up to represent Dinosaur Train and Fraggle Rock in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
Meanwhile, in the UK, Ignition Licensing will handle Fraggle Rock, while Rocket Licensing has picked up the lifestyle brand Skatelab, which Jim Henson oversees under its third party banner, HIP Brands.
The new agreements follow the recent signings of Wild Pumpkin, Medialink and Empire in the Asia Pacific region.
"This year is the 55th anniversary for The Jim Henson Company, and throughout, the company has maintained a reputation for delivering outstanding properties with evergreen appeal," said Melissa Segal, SVP of global consumer products. "These new European licensing partners will work with us to extend these brands to new countries and develop strategic consumer products programmes tailored to their market."
