Summer initiative secured with America's railroad for second year running.
The Jim Henson Company has kicked off a summer promotion for its pre-school series, Dinosaur Train.
The firm has teamed up with Amtrak - America's intercity passenger rail service - for the second year running, this time for the Big Big Dinosaur Sweepstakes.
Families can enter the sweepstakes by logging onto a special website and following the entry directions for a chance to win a holiday to Chicago and Washington. There, they will have the opportunity to visit the National Museum of Natural History.
As part of the promotion, Amtrak will distribute over 65,000 free Dinosaur Train themed activity booklets to young travellers, plus one million Amtrak Dinosaur Train ticket jackets. There will also be 20,000 placements for use in Amtrak's dining cars.
Tomy is the master toy licensee for Dinosaur Train in the US.
Jim Henson also worked with Amtrak last summer on the Dinosaur Train: Dinosaur Big City campaign.
