Jurassic World: The Exhibition lands in the US

The event will offer visitors a close up look at life-size animatronic dinosaurs based a number of those featured in the 2015 box office hit Jurassic World.

NBCUniversal has partnered with Imagine Exhibition to deliver an interactive Jurassic World experience to the city of Philadelphia.

Called Jurassic World: The Exhibition, the dinosaur experience will open at the Franklin Institute on November 25th of this year.

Based on the 2015 box office hit Jurassic World, the exhibit will take visitors through a recreated Isla Ublar, the fictional island that was home to the tourist attraction in the movie.

The event will offer visitors a close up look at life-size animatronic dinosaurs based a number of those featured in the film, including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor and Brachoisaurus.

Helping to create the exhibit is paleontologist Jack Horner, who served as an advisor on the movie.

Attendees will also be able to walk through educational experiences that will focus on the real world science behind the history of the prehistoric creatures.
