Visitors up 12 per cent on 2011, with some 1,800 industry execs heading to Paris.
The organiser of the Kazachok Licensing Forum is celebrating another successful show - with visitor attendance up by 12 per cent on 2011, it has confirmed.
Some 1,800 industry execs from the UK, Spain, Portugal, Chins, the US, Germany and Belgium to name just a few, headed to the Halle Freyssinet in Paris on April 11th and 12th, with over 80 exhibitors showcasing their brands and properties.
New additions to this year's forum included The Licensing Gallery, plus the first ever French Licensing Awards (click here for the list of winners).
There were also 27 pitching sessions across the two days.
"This was our first time and we were positively surprised by the quality and diversity of people attending that represent numerous development prospects for our properties," said Manuel Gadais, GM marketing and merchandising at Universal Music France.
Guillem Rey, marketing manager at Biplano, commented: "Many licensees and rights owners visited our booth and the fair has clearly become a reference for the French licensing market. We are definitely coming back next year."
The tenth Kazachok Licensing Forum will be held on April 17th and 18th 2013 at Halle Freyssinet, Paris.
