All proceeds of the sale of the comic will be donated to three children's hospitals in Dublin: Tallaght, Temple Street and Crumlin Hospital.

King Features and Allsorts Licensing have worked with Dublin Comic-Con to launch a one-off Phantom comic to raise money for three different children’s hospitals across Dublin.

The comic is on sale this weekend at the event and celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Phantom.

The project was produced in association with Dublin Comic Con and all proceeds of the sale of the comic will be donated to three children's hospitals in Dublin: Tallaght, Temple Street and Crumlin Hospital.

Those who contributed to the comic were chosen through a talent search operated by Dublin Comic Con with applicants featured having never been published before or whose self-published work remained under 500 units.

Production of the magazine was also facilitated by Pulse College Dublin's Video Game and Animation Campus who offered their campus to facilitate group meetings and their equipment to assist in production.
