King Rollo on board for Poppy Cat

Award winning production company to bring publishing property to TV.

Coolabi has revealed that King Rollo Films will be the animation partner for Poppy Cat.

The TV version of the publishing hit is due to premiere on Nick Jr in the UK in 2011.

King Rollo has previously worked on productions for a number of high profile firms including Nickelodeon, Universal Pictures, Disney, BBC and National Geographic. Its productions include Humf, Maisy, Spot and Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies.

"We are delighted to be co-producing the Poppy Cat series with Coolabi," said Leo Nielsen, owner and co-founder of King Rollo Films. "The charming characters and the fantastic painterly world they inhabit will be a great source of inspiration to all of us during the production of the TV series."
