Knockout Licensing secures new partners for Poldark

The firm has tapped Rizzoli International Publications and PBS Distribution to develop a new line of wall calendars and gift ware, scheduled to hit stores across the US in 2017.

Knockout Licensing has secured a swathe of new partners for the popular ITV Studios Global Entertainment property, Poldark.

The firm has tapped Rizzoli International Publications and PBS Distribution to develop a new line of wall calendars and gift ware, scheduled to hit stores across the US in 2017.

Rizzoli will develop Poldark Wall Calendars for 2017 and 2018 all of which will feature imagery from the TV series.

“Our Poldark Wall Calendar is a sumptuous, windswept treat that features striking images of characters and settings from the show’s first season,” said Robb Pearlman, associate publisher, Rizzoli Universe Calendars, books and licensing.

Meanwhile, PBS Distribution has come on board to deliver a line of gifting items including t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, aprons, stoneware and porcelain mugs, etched glassware and key chains.

“Poldark has been a hit with millions of viewers and we are pleased to offer a special gift range that captures the spirit of this sweeping period drama for its many fans,” said Sam Solomon, director of eCommerce for PBS Distribution.
