LazyTown's Sports Club continues growth

Master licensee FitKid adds DC Leisure to its franchisee partner list.

LazyTown's Sports Club project is continuing to gain momentum throughout the UK.

Master licensee FitKid has added DC Leisure - which currently manages over 110 facilities working with 30 different Local Authority partners - as a franchisee partner.

Beginning with the Arena Leisure Centre is Camberley, Surrey, the LazyTown Sports Club will be integrated into its full centre offering.

"It's great news to hear that more children will have the opportunity to participate in the LazyTown Sports Club," said LazyTown creator, Magnus Scheving. "These sessions will help to meet LazyTown's aim 'to move the world'."

Nicky Kay, MD of FitKid, added: "Adding an organisation the size of DC Leisure to our franchisee partner list is a fantastic progression. We will be pulling out all the stops to support them and grow the project through their network of clubs."
