Licensing University schedule unveiled

Experts to discuss hot industry topics at Licensing International in June.

Licensing International Expo and trade body LIMA are again joining forces to host the Licensing University during June's show.

This year's University is aiming to be the most informative yet, with 34 licensing seminars, workshops and panels planned. Each will feature top executives and leaders within the industry, with speakers and moderators coming from such companies as Disney, Fox, NPD Group, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, The Beanstalk Group and Target, amongst others.

"We are delighted to once again bring together many of today's top licensing innovators and thought leaders for four days of comprehensive study, discussion and debate," said Charles Riotto, president of LIMA.

"Whether new to the intricacies of the licensing industry or an expert looking for new ideas and opinions, Licensing University is the epicenter for discovery."

Sessions begin on June 9th - one day ahead of the main show opening - with An Introduction to Licensing for the True Novice; The ABCs of Licensing; How to Maximise Your Exhibiting and Attendance; and Understanding the Legal Side of Licensing.

Other subjects covered will include Opportunities in Food Licensing, New Media and Protecting Licensors from Product Safety Concerns and Recalls.
