3rd and Bird and Wonder Pets notch up number ones in the UK and the US.
Little Airplane Productions is certainly flying high at the moment, revealing that its two shows - 3rd and Bird and The Wonder Pets - are hitting number one on different sides of the Atlantic.
3rd and Bird - which airs daily in the Bedtime Hour on Cbeebies - is regularly reaching the top spot for all individuals across all shows on all kids channels in the UK (source: BARB Feb 17th-March 29th).
The animated musical pre-school series debuted on Cbeebies last July and, in the week ending March 29th it claimed three of the top four programme positions on the channel. It has gained 200,000 viewers, rising to a peak of 510,000 since launch (source: BARB July 08-March 29th 09).
BBC Worldwide is the global distribution partner for 3rd and Bird, handling TV sales, publishing and licensing rights.
Meanwhile, over in the US, The Wonder Pets has secured number one ratings on the number one kids channel on multiple days throughout the first quarter of 2009 (source: Nielsen Galaxy Explorer).
The show has also finished among Nick Jr's top five shows throughout the quarter, making it one of the top series on all of commercial television with pre-school audiences.
Fisher-Price is the master toy licensee for the property.
