Liverpool FC is set to enhance its merchandise offering with the development of a new flagship Anfield Stadium store.
The 19,500 square foot store will offer fans exclusive product ranges, a specially designed first floor café and an increased number of payment stations to ease checkout congestion on match days.
The new store will be four times the size of the current Anfield store and will stock a greater range of LFC merchandise while also offering fans access to exclusive New Balance and 47 Brand products through branded shop-in-shops that will be housed within the space.
“This flagship store will be the jewel in the LFC Retail crown and it is fitting that it will be situated in Anfield, the heart of this Club," said Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer, Liverpool FC.
“We are delighted to see work on the store commence as it takes us a step closer to offering our fans the best in-store experience possible as well as showing our ongoing commitment to the wider regeneration of the Anfield area.”
Set to open early in the 2017/18 season, the store will create around 60 permanent and casual roles.
