Mango Distribution to launch at Mip Junior

New children's and family firm to focus on Asia, Australia and New Zealand territories.

Mango Distribution is to make its debut at Mip Junior next month.

A joint venture between Philippines-based production house Top Draw Animation and Australian kids television producer, Sticky Pictures, Mango will focus on the Asia, Australia and New Zealand territories.

Mango will unveil a number of properties in Cannes. These will include Pearlie, an urban fairy tale animated comedy, based on the books by comedienne Wendy Harmer. It has already been pre-sold to Network Ten and Nickelodeon in Australia, as well as YTV Canada.

Mango also represents pre-school series WordWorld, while it will also be touting Invisible Network of Kids.

"Mango Distribution is looking for the right properties and partners to expand our library," said company director, Donna Andrews. "We look forward to discussing new and exciting projects with the production community at Mipcom."
