Marvel teams up with MCM Comic Con

The event at Excel London will host exclusive licensed Marvel activities.

The UK's top fan event MCM Comic Con has teamed up with the biggest name in comics for its upcoming October event at London's Excel Centre.

The Marvel area will host exclusive artwork, collectables and apparel as well as live action attractions that will allow visitors to explore the Marvel universe.

“This news is bigger than the Hulk himself and a huge announcement for us at MCM,” said Josh Denham, event manager for MCM London Comic Con.

“When people think of Comic Con, they think ‘Marvel’ and our visitors have been waiting a long time for this kind of activation. We have so many awesome things which will be revealed by both Marvel and MCM in the coming months and we cannot wait to see the reaction!"

MCM London Comic Con in May closed its doors to a successful weekend of sun, super hero battles and 130,212 sci-fi fans, gamers, comic collectors, movie buffs and anime enthusiasts attending the three-day pop culture fest, with headline guests including the likes of Rogue One's Donnie Yen and Doctor Who star/comedienne Catherine Tate.

Other attractions on show at MCM Expo will include VidfestUK – the European event for fans of online video and web series, a packed roster of eSports tournaments; leading video game publishers and anime distributors and the MCM Fringe Festival.
