The company has taken on the broadcast rights for season two of the animated series, as well as Yo-Kai Watch: The Movie.
MarVista Entertainment has extended its broadcast licensing agreement with Disney XD, securing the rights to season two of hit animation, Yo-Kai Watch.
The company will also manage the broadcast rights to the new film, Yo-Kai Watch: The Movie.
“MarVista was thrilled with the initial response from audiences when Yo-Kai Watch premiered across all five of Disney XD Latin American feeds last June, building an incredible fan base for this multiplatform property throughout the region,” said Fernando Szew, CEO of MarVista Entertainment.
“Our licensing agent, Tycoon Enterprises, has also been extremely successful in building the licensing, merchandising and retail program across the territory and continues to expand in 2017 with new deals and product rollouts.”
As part of the deal, Tycoon has also secured new deals for the brand's consumer products program.
