Miffy app heading to iOS

Launching today, the app will allow youngsters play along with their favourite bunny in everyday fun activities

Dick Bruna's iconic bunny Miffy is hitting smartphones and tablets today with the character's first iOS app, which aims to offer "a safe and fun way for parents with young children to share the delights of this classic storybook character."

Launching today, the Miffy's World app is available on the app store for £3.99 and will be launching on Google Play in the near future. The app has been created by StoryToys, a leading developer and publisher of children's apps.

The app is based on the popular TV series Miffy’s Adventures: Big and Small, which airs on kids’ channels Tiny Pop UK, Nick Jr. in the US, ABC Kids in Australia and 20 other major broadcasters around the globe. Designed to build early cognitive development, the app also aims to encourage creativity and to cultivate an interest in nature and outdoor activities.

‘Miffy’s World’ is suitable for children under the age of 5 years and is available on iOS in five languages (English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish) and will be available soon for Android in eight (also includes Japanese, Korean and Chinese).
