Industry stalwart takes on head of licensing role at design-led firm.
Bright Group International has appointed industry veteran Mike Clark to the new role of head of licensing.
Clark initially takes on the position on a part time basis. He has some 17 years experience in the licensing business, having held senior management positions with Disney, Granada/ITV Worldwide, The Beanstalk Group, Performance Brands and The Partnership.
He also acts as a sales specialist for Performance Brands and Licensing Management International. In addition, Clark has developed his own independent licensing agency, Latitude Licensing (click here for story).
BGI has been established to create children's character brands for licensing. The firm will be showcasing four new creations at Brand Licensing Europe: Swamp Life, Cowboy Carl, The Boglysaurus and Barry the Fish with Fingers.
Clark commented: "There are some really great characters on the BGI roster - giving both UK and international licensing opportunities in all product areas."
