Milkshake readies new Noddy, Toyland Detective series

Developed by DreamWorks Animation and Gaumont Animation, the new series will see familiar characters including Big Ears, Bumpy and Revs return to screens.

Channel 5 is set to launch its brand new Noddy, Toyland Detective series, which will see Noddy take on the new role as an investigator.

Premiering on Channel 5’s Milkshake channel on April 18th, episodes of the new series will air every weekday at 7.50am.

Developed by DreamWorks Animation and Gaumont Animation, the new series will see familiar characters including Big Ears, Bumpy and Revs, return to screens.

Clair Robinson, acting head of children’s at Channel 5, said: “Noddy is a true British icon and we’re delighted to include Noddy, Toyland Detective, in the Milkshake schedule. This beautifully animated series featuring a new-look Noddy and his friends is sure to be a hit with our young audience,” reports Toonzone.

Eric Ellenbogen, co-head of international TV for DreamWorks Animation, added: “We’re delighted to be bringing Noddy, Toyland Detective to UK audiences through Milkshake and Channel 5.
