Invention Story and Adventures in Duckport will hit the network in middle eastern territories in 2018.
Mondo TV has announced the sale of two major animated series to Discovery Channel Middle East kids' network DKids, in the form of Invention Story and Adventured in Duckport.
Invention Story (pictured) is a 3D animated series aimed at younger children in which Kit, an intelligent, thoughtful and very creative fox, comes up with new inventions, delighting the rabbit inhabitants of Carrot Town and infuriating Silas, their angry, jealous mayor.
Adventures in Duckport is aimed towards children aged 4-8 and featured characters from the popular Suzy Zoo property, showing kids a simpler way of living with a cast of endearing characters and engaging plotlines, certain to inspire success across a wide range of broadcast territories.
Committed to the potential of Invention Story, production partners Henan York Animation and Mondo TV have already committed to five series across both play and learning-related licensed product.
Both shows will appear on pay TV on DKids in the Middle East as part of a two-year broadcast deal. Adventures in Duckport will launch in January 2018. Invention Story will appear in the Spring of the same year.
“The simple charm of Adventures in Duckport and the humour and spirit of enquiry that drive Invention Story are enormously appealing — and both productions are, of course, written, designed and performed to the very highest standard," said Matteo Corradi, Mondo TV CEO. "We are sure that DKids viewers — and many others in the coming years — will love both shows.”
