Moonscoop signs more for Twisted Whiskers

Further broadcast deals inked in Europe, Latin America and Middle East.

Moonscoop has scored a raft of further sales for Twisted Whiskers, the show based on the popular American Greetings card characters.

In Europe, France 3, France 5, KRO Netherlands and Disney Channel Italy have acquired the 3D animated comedy. This is in addition to deals in the Middle East with Noga Israel, Al Jazeera and E-Vision, as well as with Cartoon Network in Latin America.

Lionel Marty, president of worldwide sales at Moonscoop, said: "We're building a strong worldwide base for Twisted Whiskers with these new deals and are very pleased with the response we've received to the series.

"Pet humour is universal and combined with strong storylines and eye-catching animation, we believe this show will do very well."

Moonscoop has previously signed deals with BBC in the UK and France's Canal+ for Twisted Whiskers. The brand launched in 2001 as a greeting card line, becoming the fastest selling summer social expressions range ever developed by American Greetings.
